We believe in a government that takes care of people, not profits. In Adams County, we’re fighting to protect care, dignity, and economic justice for all.</p>

<p>Climate change is real. Vaccines are safe and work for a vast majority of people. Medical decisions are best left in the hands of expert  medical professionals. Weather changes are best predicted by meteorologists. We support the scientists who work hard to make our lives better everyday!</p>

<p>The air we breathe in the Denver Metro Area is among the worst in the world. SMOG and other toxins are making our communities sick. Our water is contaminated with chemicals and PFAS, which causes cancer and other health problems. We are fighting for clean air and safe drinking water!</p>

Authoritarianism stifles civil liberties, freedom of speech and the press, and demolishes the institutions that we rely on. We are fighting everyday to stop the rising tide of authoritarianism in our own back yard.</p>

<p>Students should not be afraid to attend school. Parents should feel safe when their children are at school. Domestic violence victims deserve to be protected from their abusers. We should all be able to go about our daily lives in peace. We are fighting for common sense solutions to prevent gun violence in our community.</p>

<p>While billionaires and big corporations dodge taxes, working families carry the load. We’re organizing to fix the rigged system—because fair taxes mean stronger schools, better care, and real opportunity for everyone.</p>

<h4>Adams County Hosts Big Bill Fallout Town Hall</h4>

<p>A safe, stable, and <span style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text)"><strong style="color: var(--color-text); text-decoration-color: var(--color-text)">affordable</strong></span> home is a fundamental human need that serves as the foundation for well-being, economic mobility, and a healthier community overall. When families spend less on housing, they have more income to spend on local goods and services like groceries, dining out, and shopping, which directly supports local businesses and stimulates the economy right here in Adams County.</p>

<p>Today marked a changing of the guard for democracy. We elected our <a href="/a56b4e44-8ba4-47ab-b3cd-5206f6d5c2cc">new leadership team</a> at our Biennial Reorganization meeting. The new Chair of the Adams County Democratic Party, Beckie Bean, is the first Millennial to serve in this role. </p>
