How Can I Get More Involved?

We are often asked "How can I get more involved?" If you are registered as a Democrat in Adams County, you are automatically a member of the Adams County Democratic Party.   You are welcome to attend the monthly Executive Board meeting of the officers, captains and co-captains, and elected officials.

Welcome to the Adams County Democratic Party

Welcome to the Adams County Democratic Party, the party of success!

Adams County has a tradition of electing strong, principled Democratic officials and we want to continue working towards that goal.

From the Chair - Marty Wisniewski ACDP Chair - Sept 2009
Written by Marty Wisniewski - ADCP Chair
On October 13-16 ballots will be mailed out. Again we will embark on the democratic process of electing our local leaders; School Boards, Council members and Mayors. These are non-partisan elections and are the testing ground for the future of our party. They anchor our political foundation. We, as Democrats, have core values that transcend local politics. We need to support our party friends. We need to encourage them with our vote and our help. The
Democratic Party needs them and they need your help. The values they take to office are our own. The issues are many are many and the solutions are evasive. Fixing years of neglect and erosion of our regulatory powers will not be easy, but giving hope to a person on their last extension of unemployment claims is harder. But there is hope. The Democratic Party has placed many solutions on the table. The other side has done more of the same. Patience is one of the most under-used words in our language in this day and age. We must embrace this virtue. We are almost there. We have hope. We have a plan. Our foe is ignorance and the venom that has been spread by the uninformed. Educate your neighbors, family and friends on the issues.
