Marty on AMENDMENTS 60, 61 AND PROPOSITION 101
Written by Marty Wisniewski
Another election season is being muddled by Douglas Bruce. Yes, Douglas Bruce is at it again. He is bringing us three ballot initiatives that will destroy government, as we know it. Mr. Bruce is now hiding from the Secretary of State, hiding the fact that he is one of the primary people behind these amend-ments. If passed, they will destroy our schools, and our ambulance and medical services. They would arbitrarily reverse your vote which you, the public, have voted to de-Bruce or opting out of Tabor. He knows better than you how you wish your government to be funded. The amendments would severely limit state debt, which has funded such things as road and bridge building. Taxes would be reduced, which sounds good at face value. But investment in our schools and roads would cease. You may be asked for a credit card when you call 911. The seriousness of these amendments cannot be over-stated. I will be writing articles in our next several issues to give you a more in-depth look.
