If you are registered as a Democrat in Adams County, you are automatically a member of the Adams County Democratic Party.   You are welcome to attend the monthly Executive Board meeting of the officers, captains and co-captains, and elected officials.

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by President  Julia Hicks called the meeting to order to and reminded us to get our gifts for the Alliance in before the end of February.  The president stated she felt that we should have a couple of Saturday afternoon meetings for those who work, don’t drive at night, etc.  Jean Fredlund made a motion to plan two meetings this year on Saturday afternoons.  It was approved unanimously.  
A discussion ensued about the J.J. Dinner and who would go from the Janes. Julia decided to make February 24 the deadline for the gifts for the Alliance. A discussion of Obama’s visit to Colorado and the fall-out it is causing followed. Lucille Vela read the treasurer’s report.  A discussion arose again over the charge they invoke for not using the debit card five times.  The possibility of moving the bank account to another bank followed.  Jean Fredlund made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report.  It was approved unanimousy.
The next meeting will be on March 17 at headquarters.  A caucus training will be held February 24 at the ATU Hall on 72nd Avenue.
