    We are often asked "How can I get more involved?" If you are registered as a Democrat in Adams County, you are automatically a member of the Adams County Democratic Party.   You are welcome to attend the monthly Executive Board meeting of the officers, captains and co-captains, and elected officials.

CO House District 32: Edward Casso

Representative Edward Casso is the Colorado State Representative for House District 32 in Adams County. He is a member of the Business Affairs and Labor Committee (former Vice-Chair), and was the Deputy Whip during the 66th General Assembly in his first term. Rep. Casso was first elected to his post in 2006, was re-elected in 2008, and is up for reelection in 2010. Rep. Casso is the first person in his extended family to attend university, and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Philosophy. He is currently a master’s degree candidate at Regis University studying social justice.

CO House District 33: Dianne Primavera

Representative Dianne Primavera is serving her second term for House District 33 and is a member of the Health and Human Services Committee, Transportation & Energy Committee, and was recently appointed to Legislative Audit Committee for which she was elected Vice Chair.

Representative John Soper is currently serving his third term for House District 34 and is a member of the Local Government Committee as well as the Business Affairs & Labor Committee. John also served for two years on the Health and Human Services Committee.

CO House District 35: Cherylin Peniston

Since being elected four years ago, I have proudly served the people of House District 35 as your Democratic State Representative. During that time, I jhave proven myself to be a knowledgeable legislator. So much so, that I was appointed to a leadership position. Chair of the House Local Government Committee, by the Speaker of the House, The Honorable Terrance Carroll. I am also a member of the House Education Committee.
