I am currently the Adams County Treasurer and enjoy my job. I have worked very hard to keep the budget low and have reduced it over the last 3+ years, without reducing staff . I have continued the educational efforts to train the staff. They have been trained in customer service and relations and will continue to train to keep up standards for their positions and also for other positions. I have been working very hard in cross training the staff in other positions so that we will always have at least 1 if not two others trained in each position.

I support and maintain the free income tax program that is run out of my office. I pay for one full time and one part time employee to run this program and also support the volunteers. These volunteers are the ones who get trained and file all the tax forms for the low income and senior citizens in and around the County.
